Copenhagen Airport Bus

Since public transport in Copenhagen features for its excellence and efficiency, travelling by bus turns to be the best option to get to the city centre from Copenhagen Airport and to move through it. Bus is the most suitable alternative to car as saves you a lot of time.

You can find several bus lines serving Copenhagen Airport. There are also free shuttle buses between the terminals and Copenhagen city centre.

Take the yellow and red Movia Buses to get to the city centre and many more places throughout Copenhagen. 

Line 5A

Copenhagen Airport to Husum Torv

Stops: Copenhagen Airport - Skottegårdsskolen - Sundbyvester Plads Central Station - Amagerbro St. - Rådhuspladsen – Nørreport st. - Nørrebro st. - Bellahøj - Husum Torv

It takes 35 minutes to get from Copenhagen Airport to the Central Station. 

Opening hours: Frequency every 3 to 7 minutes’ intervals on peak hours (from 07:00 am to 9:00, and from 15:30 pm to 17:30 pm) and 10 minutes outside peak hours (it also runs at night). 

Line 35

Copenhagen Airport - Dr Byen St.

Stops: Copenhagen Airport - Airport East - A. P. Møllers Alle - Stationsplads Dragør - Store Magleby - Tommerup - Sundbyvester Plads - Dr Byen St.

Opening hours:

Monday to Friday: From 5:06 am to 23:59 pm, every 28 minutes.
Saturdays: From 5:07 am to 23:59 pm, every hour. 
Sundays: From 5:06 am to 23:59 pm, every hour.

Line 36

Copenhagen Airport - Nøragersmindevej

Stops: Copenhagen Airport - Korsvejens Skole - Tårnby st. – Nøragersmindevej

Opening hours: 

Monday to Friday: From 5.11 am to 0.35 am, every 8 minutes.
Saturdays: From 5.47 am to 0:33 am, every hour.
Sundays: From 6:12 am to 0.35 am, every hour.

Location

Find the bus terminal outside of Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. 

At Terminal 2, there is only for passenger drop-off, while at Terminal 3 it is either for passenger pick-up and drop-off.

Regarding fares, see attached the established fares by Copenhagen Public Transport Authority:

For a one-way ticket, you need to purchase a valid ticket within the zones you need to travel to. You can inform about it by taking a look at the zone maps displayed at the stations. 

One-way ticket from CPH Airport, as it is a 3-zone ticket, is DKK 36.00.

Your ticket will be valid for between 1 and 2 hours according to the zone number your ticket is. 

For 1 adult ticket, 2 children under 12 years can travel without charge.

Where can I buy my ticket?

You can buy your ticket from the bus driver on board in case you have small change; otherwise, you can buy it from the ticket machines at the stations or through Copenhagen Public Transport app.

- It is half price for children under 16 years old.
