Copenhagen Airport Metro

Want to get from Copenhagen Airport to the city centre in a fast and cheap way? Then Metro is your best option! Metro and train fares are the cheapest ones regarding public transport.

Lines

M2 line (yellow line) links Kastrup Airport with Copenhagen city centre. The trip takes a total time of 15 minutes.

It has a higher frequency than train, so if you want to avoid long wait, just take the metro!

The metro trains are totally driverless and have a daily frequency of 3 minutes on rush hours, while out of rush hours as well as weekends every 6 minutes.

From Sunday to Thursday, from midnight to 5:00 am runs every 20 minutes.

How to get to Copenhagen from CPH Airport?

To get to Copenhagen city centre by metro you just need to ride M2 line till Nørreport Station, which is the central metro station of Copenhagen. 

If you wish to transfer to M1 line (green line), you can do so in both Christianshavn (11 minutes) and Nørreport stations of M2 line. 

To get to Copenhagen Central Railway Station you would better take the train from CPH Airport since there isn’t connected to the metro.

You can take the metro at Terminal 3. It is a direct extension of the terminal.

You need to purchase a 3-zone ticket to get to Copenhagen city centre.

Fares for a one-way ride is DKK 36.00.

You can buy your Copenhagen Airport Metro ticket in the self-vending machines located throughout the station and in the ticket booths.

- 72-hours City Pass card: DKK 200.00
- It is half price for children under 16 years old.

City Pass Large

- 24-hours City Pass card: DKK 160.00
- 48-hours City Pass card: DKK 300.00
- 72-hours City Pass card: DKK 400.00
- It is half price for children under 16 years old.

You can also use Copenhagen Card to ride any mean of public transport.
